Con seasons coming to an end, enjoying moving forward, working hard, and other stuff.....

I just did two show that treated me very very well! NC Con and VA Con (two day show).  Both of these shows still keep a heavy focus on artist, both indie and larger names, but the great thing is that its love across the board with these shows. I do this (art, design, branding) full time. I am not rich, and still building a name for myself, but shows like this help keep you motivated against all odds. If every show was like this, i would be  doing shows every weekend lol.  The promoters treat us well, and the people are super supportive at these two shows. I guess the past few years have been more about figuring out what works.... I have a better idea now  i would say.  There are still some i want to check out, but i have figured out what shows are a little more important to rush to get in for and which ones i wouldn't really be missed at lol.  I am shaping things for the future. I have projects i am working on for others, all while building my own works up and prepping to move forward with many things next year.   These two shows were super cool and the turnout was great!! i hope to do both next year as well as try out a few others. Durham and Richmond, well, NC AND VA, Thank you Greatly.... I have one more show this year, it's another Favorite of mine, and one of the first shows that gave me a shot at this art thing, NC Comicon. It's a December show (check the news?events page for date and location), and will round up my con season for the year. I always have a great time there, Dave and Rick are the best and treat everyone so well!! I always look  forward to the shows with them. They have 3 a year, spread out in good fashion, and each one is better and better!!  So i will end the art tour and the homie Kiser calls it, at home, then pick up gain in January. I have some other things i am working on for next year, so cons will be only one way to catch me and my work floating around...... soon to announce others.....

on another note, i officially finished up some sketch cards for a project Topps is doing, i hope it goes well, and opens other doors, either way i was welcomed in with lots of love, and enjoyed what i have done so far..... Look forward to hopefully doing more....

Working on a great project also with a brilliant writer and film visionary, i won't say much now, but more later.....

Spoke for a whie with my good friend and Co writer of Fairy Tale Knights, Jerale Clebourne.  I hope i spelled his first name right! forgive me J.... but we talked and he said he is still down to work on the projects we began with, which is great cause i have been taking forever and a week to get what we started with done.  Mainly due to trying to make everything live up to my expectations of myself artisticly, and keep up with his incredible writing.  So bare with, as we forge forward. I think it will be orth it....

Shout out to my homie and family member Bill! good seeing you guys in Durham!!

I also met an extreme talent by the name of JoeyMcIntosh. (real last name as far as i know.) Words don't express how visually stunning this guy is. I know he has his own path, i intend to involve him in as many projects as i can for things to come.  I will post some of his work soon i hope to collab with him, and just want to see some work out there from this guy... simply amazing....

met a bunch of cool people, some who are aiming to get my work in front of people that know people and see what happens, and i am working out details on a show called Awesome con.... timing.... gotta get in!!
